Artist Notes:
This drinking vessel is inspired by the tea ceremony and is intended for water or other cool liquids. The form offers many small paths of line and details for the eye to follow and explore.

Materials & Making:

Translucent porcelain, high-fired to cone 9 (approximately 2,300°F)
Interior and rim finished in a food-safe clear glaze
Exterior features areas of bare porcelain, hand-sanded to a soft, stone-like surface — safe to handle and hold, though not intended for liquid contact
Fully vitrified: microwave and dishwasher safe

A Note on Function:
These pieces are artworks first and functional vessels second. Handle with care — thinner walls and intricate details reward gentle use.
